There, you can see the total per-pupil spending amounts by source of funds, as well as by service compared to state and district averages. North Carolina does not yet have an online comparison option to view per-pupil spending for all schools within a district. To gather this information, view each school’s report card in your district. You can also use the “compare to other schools” feature to compare up to 5 schools within your district.

The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction also publishes the North Carolina School Finances website which displays total expenditures, spending on teachers and classroom materials, and provides contextual information about the state’s funding system. Currently, only 2017-2018 data is available.
