In compliance with state law, Ohio calculates and displays the per-pupil expenditure using an equivalent pupil count, which weighs some subgroups more than others, rather than calculating the per-pupil expenditure based on enrollment. As a result, the actual per-pupil cost at the school and district may be higher than what is displayed on the Report Card. If you have any questions about the data reported by Ohio or feedback on its Report Card system(s) please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ohio also has a grading system that allows you to see the financial grades each school receives within a district in a single table. This is available on the district report card option in the Ohio School Report Cards website. Additionally, there are several types of data that can be downloaded by district or school (individually or a customized list) available on the “Advanced Reporting” page.
