UTAH

Utah published FY19 school-by-school spending data on their report card and in the “School Level Reports” tab of their Financial Operations page of the website.  The Financial Operations page houses school-by-school spending by district, for every school in the state, and for charter schools. It also links to budget and accounting handbooks, charts of accounts, and other financial documents. To find the school-by-school spending data on the report card, go to your school’s page, click “Profile” then scroll to the bottom of the report card and click “View School Finance Information.” This will display how much funding went to instructional or non-instructional expenses as well as the per-pupil expenditures compared to state and district averages. Click on “More Details” to view spending by source of funds.  Explore Utah’s spending below or access their report card here and their financial reports here.

To access the file click on the “Statewide School Level Reports” file located in the “School Level Reports” tab of the Financial Operations webpage. Then, filter by district to conduct your comparison.
