District Special Ed

How are school districts allocating ESSER dollars to support students with learning differences? Are districts using the opportunity to strengthen systems and innovate?

We’re tracking how some school districts are allocating their CRRSA (ESSER II) or ARP (ESSER III) funds to address unfinished learning for students with disabilities and other vulnerable learners. The districts included in our tracker are not representative: they were either nominated or identified through media searches and were selected for inclusion if we were able to identify specific investments for students with disabilities.

If you have questions about the selection criteria, want us to add a district, or wish to correct any information, please email
